For my first job as a high school graduate, I got an offered as a summer intern in Andrew Found Limited. A professional recruitment agency dedicated to providing consultancy services to clients and job seekers.
When I first discussed my interest in working to my friends and family, they all agreed on the importance of a pleasant working environment and friendly co-workers as the key components to a good job experience. As a new workforce, it is natural to have some struggle regarding work at first. And I myself, naturally, also had that struggle. However, with the aid of my co-workers as mentors, I was easily, quickly, and efficiently caught up to my new job.
The culture of Andrew Found is the factor I deem as most favorable. Andrew Found has a lighter full time work schedule of 10 to 5 and offers other flexible working hours. The working atmosphere is welcoming and casual. All in all, the light-hearted yet professional culture of Andrew Found has let their employee be less pressured thus working productively with pleasure.
In conclusion, in my 2 months in Andrew Found as a summer intern has been a joyful and fulfilling experience. It has given me a lot of insight in the procedure of real-life job placement and a good head start on my career path.
